MIA

I know that I have been MIA for several days. I have been busy with Reamer's Ranger Graduation and the 4th of July celebrations. I'm happy that Reamer is finally back at home, but I am getting antsy trying to figure everything out about our move. At this point we are sort of at a standstill. Everything in the army is very bureaucratic and it takes several trips to see overemployed civilian workers before anything gets done. We still do not have an exact moving date so it makes things difficult to figure out. I seriously don't understand why they put such nonmotivated workers in their positions. They have so much control over our destiny, but they don't really care what happens to us at all.

I'm getting used to not working, although there is a part of me that misses it terribly. It is nice to do some of the things that I've wanted to for a while but I still sort of miss my job. I think that I will definately want to work when we get to Italy, but I guess I will see when we get there.

I hear you about waiting...As usual, with anything in the military...it's "Hurry up and wait!"
Glad that Reamer is back home- I can't wait for Andrew to get home :)
